Coal Batter?! That looks really strange and amazing. What is it?
Hey there,
the coal batter is made of squid ink, there is actually no coal in it, just flour, squid ink, corn flour, champagne and salt.
Fantastic! Very striking. I imagine the fish is deep fried. Does a lot of the squid ink color leach into your frying oil?
