A chefs notebook
Hi there…….. i finally have the chance to put some new post on. Here some soup garnishes i made the last week
You’re currently reading “Soup Garnishes”, an entry on The Food Lab
THESE ARE AMAZING!
What Talent! I am gutted i have not come across this site until now! These garnishes are incredible.. Simple, detailed, yet elegant in every way.
I have been flicking through cookbooks such as Donna Hay, Marie Claire, Jamie Oliver and multiple websites for days and have not discovered anything as amazing as these garnishes! Do you have a book or is it just online?
Can you possibly pass on a suggestion or link me to one of your past garnishes you could recommend for these dishes. I have been searching for inspiration for a few days now and coming across your garnishes.. perfection!
http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/1285/spinach+leek+and+goats+cheese+tarts and http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/19161/baked+apples+with+sultana+crumble .. Only one tart and one apple will be served. Do you have possibly suggestions? It would be GREATLY appreciated as my small dinner party is coming up next week!
Hey Amy, thanks for your interest….
I gonna answer all your questions one by one
Why don’t you bake your apple a bit, than cut it into a thick sheet like a bell pepper. This way you can get the same taste but with a sharp presentation and you have room to play with the rest…… like a mousse from the leftover inside in a few dots around…..
ah thank you for that idea. How do you make your set spinach?
Sorry about all of those questions i got a bit excited!
